Because
we do not hold a retail licence our minimum order is 12 x
75 cl bottles. We are pleased to make bespoke mixed cases
to suit your tastes, but occasionally some of the finest and
rarest wines can only be offered by the case.
Payment
By
cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Amex with your order unless
we have agreed an account facility or we can invoice you and
dispatch the wines once your payment arrives.
We
only recommend giving your credit card details over the telephone.
If you place an order via e-mail, include a number where we
can call you to obtain your card details.
Delivery
We
believe that when you place an order, that you want to receive
the wines as soon as possible, so we use Amtrak to do our home deliveries and they are very
efficient and will usually deliver 'next-working-day' following
our dispatch. They do however have to get a signature for
the delivery. If you are out they will leave a card, so you
can arrange a convenient time for delivery.
Because
of the relative high cost of using this efficient service
we have to levy the following delivery charges.
Up
to £250.00 we charge £7.50 per consignment, irrespective
of the number of cases.
Over
£250.00 we pay the carriage.
Self
Collection
Because
almost all of our wines are stored in perfect conditions in
Vinotheque Bond, Burton-upon-Trent, and it is from here that
all orders are dispatched. It is possible for us to arrange
for customers to collect their order directly from Vinotheque,
if this is more convenient. This service is available on weekdays
only and subject to the opening hours of Vinotheque and sufficient
notice is required for Customs & Excise clearance of the
wines. This service is free of charge. Please note we do not
hold any stock at our offices other than samples.
Availability
We
endeavour to provide the exact wines included in our offers
as quickly as possible, however sometimes our offers are oversubscribed
and when we return to our suppliers they have sold out. In
all such instances we will contact you to discuss an alternative.
All wines offered on our list and our offers are subject to
our terms and conditions of trade.
